Acupuncture
Stephen Brooke has a B.A. (Hons) degree in Traditional Acupuncture, Licentiate in Acupuncture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. All members are bound by the BAcC’s Code of Ethics and Safe-Practice and are fully insured.
Stephen has been practising Acupuncture for five years, following his three year training at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa. Although Acupuncture has achieved a reputation in the West for its ability to relieve pain (chronic and acute), Stephen has found that it is also very effective at dealing with some conditions where drug therapy and other Western interventions are less successful. He believes that there is a growing need for a system of medicine that can bridge the gap between the mental/emotional aspects of people’s lives and their physical symptoms. To this end, Stephen particularly enjoys working with people to help them achieve a better quality of life. Stephen is committed to both his personal and professional development. He teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gong and has a post-graduate diploma in the theory and practice of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.
